DNS Server Create New Root Hint

To Create new dns server root hint in windows 2003, do the following

1. Open DNS manager using command dnsmgmt.msc.
2. In the console tree, right click on Local DNS Sever Node and select properties menu item.
3. Click Add button in the root hints tab of DNS server properties dialog
4. Enter Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) and the the IP address of the authoritative DNS server for root hints and press ADD button then click OK button
5. Verify the list item "dnsserver.mydns" in the root hints tab of DNS server properties dialog.
